The Qubis apartment building is a four level mixed-use development built on the boarder of the Northbridge Entertainment precinct. Designed by Oldfield Nott Architects, this large modern building consists of 42 high standard residential apartments and 3 commercial tenancies.
Ascent Structural Steel was contracted to supply and install the structural steel for this project which was completed in late 2008.
The Midland Gate Cafe Project is the start of the $150 million redevelopment of the Midland gate shopping centre, making it one of the biggest of its kind in Western Australia.
The ambitious building designed by Hames Sharley Architects is situated on the Cale St corner of the Midland Gate Shopping Centre. Ascent Structural Steel was awarded the contract to supply and install all of the structural steel for this small but architecturally impressive project with an anticipated completion in early 2015.
The Kings Square 4 Project is a 12 level office tower in the Perth CBD. Kings Square 4 is a part of the Kings Square Precinct which is strategically located within the $5.2 billion Perth City Link project.

Kings Square is a master planned precinct that will create an extension of King Street linking St Georges Terrace to Wellington Street.
KS4 is now the new headquarters for HBF Insurance, WA's largest health insurer - with approximately 13,000sqm of commercial office space over 12 levels. This project is targeting a 5 Star Green Star – Office Design v3 rating from the Green Building Council of Australia and a 5 Star NABERS Energy rating. The project competion and handover is set for Mid 2015.

Constructed on the old Perth entertainment centre site and designed by Crone Partners, this large multi-level building comprises of over 20,440sqm of A Grade commercial office space, 530sqm of ground floor retail facilities and a large underground parking area.
Kings Square 2 is located within the $5.2 billion Perth City Link precinct – one of Australia’s most significant CBD urban renewal developments. The precinct, located to the north of the CBD is proposed to be a dynamic destination, generating the opportunity for high density residential and over 220,000sqm of office and commercial floor space including retail and entertainment enterprises. The Kings Square 2 project is anticipated to be completed in MAY 2015.

Designed by Baltinas Made this stunning building is designed as a sustainable apartment in order to reduce energy consumption, water usage and long term maintenance of the building. A large community centre that incorporates change rooms, toilets, kitchen and multi-purpose areas situated in the area of Ellenbrook Western Australia.
Ascent Structural & Architectural Steel was awarded the structural steel package for the Ellenbrook community pavilion which is a large community centre situated in the rapidly expanding Ellenbrook area of Western Australia. Designed by Rob Anson Architects this large community centre incorporates many features such as a large commercial kitchen, toilets and a variety of multi- purpose areas. Ascent supplied and installed all of the structural steel for this project which is anticipated to be fully completed and handed over by early 2015.
The heritage listed Old Treasury Building situated in the Perth CBD is in the process of a major refurbishment and redevelopment into Perth’s very first 6-star luxury boutique hotel.
Designed by the highly awarded and internationally renowned architect Kerry Hill Architects, this impressive historical building is a great change for the hotel industry of Western Australia.
In early 2013 Ascent Structural Steel had been contracted to supply and install the structural steel and associated works for this project which was completed in JUNE 2015.
The Old Treasury Building situated in the Perth CBD has achieved practical completion.
Ascent Structural Steel has been involved with this project from the start in early 2013 right through until present. Ascents work originally started with the supply and installation of floor beams throughout the Mock-up room where it moved on to the Central Core and the Major Works.
Over the past 2 years Ascent has worked very close with the builder, the client and consultants to ensure the structural steel aspects of the building were completed on time, on budget and to the correct specifications. Ascent had to ensure that the many different sections of the building were site measured, fabricated and installed within a very strict time frame so that works could proceed throughout the building.
The large heritage listed building now proudly stands fresh and refurbished ready for its new life as a luxury six-star hotel.
The heritage listed Old Treasury Building situated in the Heart of the Perth CBD, once housing the WA Department of Finance is a large development constructed in the early 1900’s. Sitting vacant for the last 20 years, the building required a complete upgrade and extensive restoration to the internal facilities and external façade.
This $90M+ development has been refurbished to a mix of uses including a luxury 6-star hotel together with a day spa, gym and pool facility and a large mix of retail and hospitality facilities. The new hotel will feature 48 luxuriously hotel suites, dining rooms, lounge, library plus private meeting and function rooms.

Ascents Structural Steel supplied and installed all the structural steel throughout this building including the roof structure, structural supports, plant room, internal steel and the exposed roof terrace. We have worked very closely with our client ensuring that delivery, installation and handover was completed on time and to the client’s requirements.
We are proud to have been involved with this project which will be providing another 20,440sqm of ‘A Grade’ commercial office space and 530sqm of ground floor retail facilities to the Perth CBD.
This large building now stands as one of the first to be completed within the Kings Square Precinct.
