Old Treasury Building Achieves Practical Completion
The Old Treasury Building situated in the Perth CBD has achieved practical completion.
Ascent Structural Steel has been involved with this project from the start in early 2013 right through until present. Ascents work originally started with the supply and installation of floor beams throughout the Mock-up room where it moved on to the Central Core and the Major Works.
Over the past 2 years Ascent has worked very close with the builder, the client and consultants to ensure the structural steel aspects of the building were completed on time, on budget and to the correct specifications. Ascent had to ensure that the many different sections of the building were site measured, fabricated and installed within a very strict time frame so that works could proceed throughout the building.
The large heritage listed building now proudly stands fresh and refurbished ready for its new life as a luxury six-star hotel.
Project Overview

The new hotel will feature 48 luxuriously hotel suites, dining rooms, lounge, library plus private meeting and function rooms.
